Service and Outreach

My professional service focuses on strengthening the mathematical sciences through academic leadership, student mentoring, curriculum development, and engagement with the broader scientific community.

I am the founding President of the CUNY SACNAS Professional Chapter, officially recognized in August 2026. Through this role, I work to strengthen professional connections, mentorship, and collaboration among students, faculty, and researchers across CUNY. I also serve as Faculty Advisor to the City Tech SIAM Student Chapter, supporting mathematical enrichment, invited seminars, and student engagement in research.

My institutional service includes participation in the College Council Curriculum Committee, the HSI Steering Committee, and the Applied Mathematics Committee in the Mathematics Department. These responsibilities allow me to contribute to curriculum development, academic governance, and interdisciplinary educational initiatives.

I also contribute to the mathematical and scientific communities through scholarly reviewing, conference activities, and research mentoring. My reviewing roles include AMS Mathematical Reviews and IEEE ICASSP 2027. I have also been selected to serve as a Mentor Judge for student poster presentations at the 2026 SACNAS National Conference.

Earlier in my career, I held leadership positions in the SIAM and Association for Women in Mathematics student chapters at Oregon State University. During my postdoctoral appointment at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I contributed to initiatives supporting women in mathematics and data science.
